Honourable Commissioner of information and communication Dan Manjang, have expressed optimism that Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong is willing to finish and commission all the on going projects across the state as some of them reach appreciable stage.
"Some projects reach appreciable level and by the grace of God all projects will finish and commission by this administration".
Manjang made the revelation immediately they ended tour of Northern Plateau.
Recall, rescue administration in Plateau State have embark on tour across the three Senatorial district of the state to assess the level of ongoing projects.
Our correspondent learned that the touring team have inspected the " Lalong Legacy Project" and other ongoing projects intervention initiated by both Lalong and Jang administration.
Our medium also gather that the Lalong Legacy Project which is champion by BLENESON Services Nigeria Limited (BSNL), which expected to construct 6 model hospitals, 6 model secondary schools and 8 model Primary Schools, Dan Manjang said "Government have secured funding for all the projects".
He also revealed that the street lightening project which Government contracted at the sum of N2.8 billion, phase one has been done awaiting the second phase of the project.
The inspection team further went to see N260 million machine at the Plateau Printing Press(PPP) which is conceptualize by Jonah Jang administration in 2012, and City line express machine which was installed in 2014 at Plateau Publishing company(PPC), that have the capacity of producing about 35,000 copies of newspaper within one hour.
Ongoing renovation of Nigeria Union of journalists,NUJ, and multimillion Naira High Court Complex Jos which is 80% completion without furnishing.
Other places visited includes; Potato value chain in Rigiza District, Jos North LGA and that of Heipang, Barkin Ladi LGA which it consist of three components namely; diffused light store community market and tissue culture.
Our correspondent observed that the potato value chain is in collaboration with African Development Bank, which Plateau State Government paying about Nj120 million each. It is situated across 9 LGA of the state.
Tissue culture laboratory that is in Mangu is said to the capacity to provide 6 million seedlings to farmers per annum as it will create employment opportunities.
Well,the model hospital which is part of the Lalong Legacy Project in Natton, Fobur district of Jos East LGA, model secondary schools in Jengre Bassa and that of Riyom LGA as well as model Primary school Gyel in Jos South LGA, were all at advance stage.
The information and communication Commissioner Dan Manjang,enjoined Plateau citizens to rally support for Lalong's administration as they are persuaded to deliver more dividends of democracy.
According to management committee chairman of Riyom LGA, Hon. Mafeng Gwalson acknowledged that a lot of members benefited as a result of many interventions situated in the locality by Governor Lalong.
Gwalson opines that Local Government have agreed pay N36 million compensation land owner where Trauma center is built.
He said since 1960 there is no government that have done what Lalong did as they anticipate more.
The inspection team also went to G-Riyon water treatment plant, worth about N4 billion, if completed is expecting to several communities.
